Spektrum/Horizon Hobby DX18QQ
;e Quique Somenzini 18-channel special edition radio
Spektrum, the radio that introduced us all to 2.4GHz control, is well-known for top-quality radio gear designed to fit the needs of modelers whether they sport fly or need
the best in professional-grade control for competition. When the DX18 came out, it
o;ered top-of-the-line control with simple-to-use, complex programing for any airplane.
It had user-friendly programming for airplanes, helicopters, and serious sailplanes,
and there was not much else you could ask for in the programming menus. Add up to
18 available channels (with the X-Plus module), and the DX18 is in a class all by itself.
;at was until now; Spektrum has improved on the DX18 with its release of the new
DX18QQ Quique Somenzini Special Edition radio. Now, you know that Quique
would not put his name on something unless it was the best of the best. ;e
DX18QQ is now the new flagship of the Spektrum line, and this radio has
some significantly improved features, over the DX18, that would entice any RC pilot out there. So,
let’s take a look at what makes this radio so unique.
